There are two passwords — here's what they do.

You'll notice that your wedding galleries have two different passwords. This is intentional.
One is designed for you as the couple, while the other is designed for guests, family and anyone else you'd like to share your wedding with.

PRIVATE CLIENT PASSWORD - This one is just for you.

Your Private Client Password unlocks additional features in your Pixieset gallery that aren't available to guests. These include things like:

• Favouriting photographs

• Making individual images private

• Accessing additional gallery features reserved for just the two of you

Keep this password for yourselves rather than sharing it with guests.

GUEST PASSWORD - This one is for sharing.

Give your Guest Password to friends, family and vendors who you'd like to have access to your gallery. Guests can browse your photographs and download images, but they won't have the same private-client controls as you.

The Guest Password is also the password used to access your Vimeo films.
So if you're sending your wedding gallery to your family, you can simply send them the gallery link and Guest Password.

Why two passwords?
It means you can share your wedding freely without giving everyone access to the private controls of your photo gallery.

For example, you might send your Guest Password to your family, while keeping your Private Client Password just between the two of you.

Your Private Client Password gives you access to Pixieset's favouriting features. This can be particularly useful when choosing photographs for an album or prints. Want to create a shortlist of your favourite images? Just click the heart ♡ icon at the top of your gallery and sign in with your email address. From there, you can create multiple Favourite Lists — for example, one for your album, one for family photos, or one for images you'd like to share. Once you've created a list, you can access it anytime from the heart icon and share it using its own link or download the images.

Your gallery is designed to work on your phone, tablet or computer. Anyone with the Guest Password can download photographs from the guest gallery.

Downloading one photo
Open the photograph you'd like to save and select the download ↓ option.

Downloading multiple photos
You can create a favourites list of images and choose to download just those images.

Downloading your entire gallery
If you'd like to keep the whole collection safe elsewhere, look for the Download option in the header bar of your gallery. We recommend downloading your complete gallery and keeping a backup somewhere safe.

A note about image quality
Your gallery contains high-resolution files suitable for printing as well as sharing digitally.

If you're printing photographs yourself, we'd recommend using the original high-resolution files rather than screenshots or social-media downloads.

One of the best things about your gallery is how easy it is to share.

You can simply send someone your gallery link along with the Guest Password.

You might want to share it with:

• Parents and grandparents

• Friends and family

• Your wedding party

• Your wedding vendors

• Anyone who helped make the day happen

They can browse through the gallery and download their favourites.

We've carefully edited every photograph in your gallery to create a consistent look and feel across the entire collection.

So when you're sharing your photos online, please don't add additional filters, presets or heavy edits.

We'd love for the photographs to be shared as we intended them to look.

Want to keep certain photos just between the two of you? When you're logged in using your Private Client Password, you can mark individual images as private by selecting the eye icon on the photo. Private photos are immediately hidden from anyone using the Guest Password, while remaining visible to you. You can make a photo public again at any time by selecting the eye icon again.
You can also contact us directly if you’d like an entire section (e.g. the prep photos) hidden from guest view. As we are able to hide entire sections for you.

We are yet to take down any of our past weddings from our online gallery storage. However we only keep a backup copy of your original files for 1-2 years.
We recommend downloading and backing up your photographs and films rather than relying on the online galleries as your only copy. If you're ever unsure about the availability of your gallery, just ask us.
