We are here for your story, wanting to capture it in its most real and authentic form. No awkward poses. No odd expectations of how you should act or look. We’re all about helping you find the space in which you feel most comfortable, meeting you there and making memories. There is nothing we adore more than letting all of your epic moments unfold in front of us.
Not simply observers, we are also at your service – be it bouquet or dress or veil carriers, removers of spider webs (usually by accidentally walking through them!), bringers of food or water (*wine*) and finders of five seconds of quiet before you walk out the door.
Ultimately, Ben & Ebony finds the best moments in which you and your loved ones are uniquely yourselves. And then we record them for prosperity. Creating an enduring time capsule of ‘you’.
Ebony takes the pictures.
She loves a cosy cup of tea and escaping warm weather – the cool climes of Albany is a happy place where she can spend time with her *million* nieces and nephews. She can quote the entirety of Ace Ventura with ease and is quick to indulge in a Harry Potter movie marathon whenever she finds the time.
She loves Ben big time… his unfaltering kindness towards others, his ability to surprise her with the depth of his compassion for this Earth and the people on it. The way he takes care of her, their home and their community. If she is up to her ears in chaos, he calmly reminds her that she can do anything. And he also makes a mean risotto.
Ben makes the films.
He loves the real stuff. The honest, raw, warm-fuzzy stuff. He values sustainable living, being kind and finding time to care for others. He is constantly striving to do better, be better, and feel better. He loves a long black coffee in the morning after a run with the dog – taking time out to meditate and think deeply about things. You might find him stuck in a YouTube spiral when not working, or in the backyard building… something?!
He loves Ebony deeply. She challenges and inspires him and he doesn’t know if he would have got through some of the toughest times in his life without her. He also admits he now tolerates *but secretly loves* Harry Potter.

Their eye for detail is beyond and their kind, down to earth nature made us feel so comfortable to be ourselves. As soon as we met Ebony we knew that we had found our photographer! The instant click and relief knowing this was someone who was going to really make our day special. Ebony was so warm and welcoming from that first meeting, it felt like we had known her for years! The lead up to our wedding was so easy breezy. Ebony helped me out so much with timings and plans and suggestions which I always loved. On the day I never had to worry about a thing. From organising our bridal party, to meeting our timings, photo locations, providing the music and a bag full of accessory goodies, I could not have asked for anyone better. It didn’t feel like wedding photographs; it was stress free and fun and just felt more like hanging out with friends, and the best photos were always captured without us knowing!

We had such an emotional rollercoaster with the preparations of our wedding, and Ben and Ebony were with us, supporting us through it all! We knew the second we met Ben we chose the right person to capture our wedding day. It wasn't just the mutual love of dogs, hot sauce, and late night dumplings, but how he made us feel instantly comfortable. Our guests seemed to agree because they all loved him too! He really understood what was important to us and our wedding, and it shows in our video. Hiring these guys was absolutely one of the best investments we made, Ben captured so many moments we would have never witnessed otherwise, and gave us something we will treasure forever.

I couldn’t get back to sleep this morning because I kept running through yesterday in my mind and I cannot fault it. I think a big part of that comes from you! You made all of us feel so comfortable and we had such a fun time. But you weren’t just our photographer, you fixed our hair and makeup, you made sure we all had drinks (including water), you were on time with everything and made sure we had time to take a breath throughout the day. We can’t thank you enough.

On our big day they brought such a calming presence, we were so relaxed because we knew they were in control and had everything meticulously planned to ensure the day and timeline went smoothly. We loved shooting with them, it was more like hanging out with our friends rather than standing awkwardly getting our photo taken. Throughout the day and night we hardly noticed they were there, somehow they still managed to capture some beautiful and intimate shots of us and our guests. We can honestly not thank them enough for capturing our day so perfectly!

We feel that you captured the real "us" - I don't know what that means or what it is, but it's something I was definitely unsure if anyone would be able to do and you nailed.
